Hair Transplant Near Me in NYC: A Guide for Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, New Jersey and Long Island
Looking for a hair transplant near you in NYC? How to get to a Midtown Manhattan clinic from Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, New Jersey and Long Island.

If you search "hair transplant near me" anywhere in New York City, the practical question is not only which clinic, but how easy it is to get there for the consultation, the procedure day and the follow-up visits. This guide explains what "near" really means for a hair transplant, and how patients from each borough, New Jersey and Long Island can reach our Midtown Manhattan clinic.
- A hair transplant usually means several visits: a consultation, the procedure day, and follow-up checks during healing and regrowth.
- Peak NYC is at 240 W 37th St, 5th Floor, between 7th and 8th Avenue, a short walk from Penn Station, Times Square and Port Authority.
- Choose a clinic on the quality of the medical plan first; location matters most for easy follow-up.
Why location matters for a hair transplant
A hair transplant is not a single appointment. Most patients have a consultation where the scalp and donor area are examined, then the procedure day itself, then check-ins while the scalp heals and while new hair grows over the following months. Our post-op guide explains the first days of aftercare in detail.
That is why a clinic that is easy to reach matters. On the procedure day, you will want a simple trip home, ideally without driving yourself. During recovery, a short trip makes it easier to come back if you have a question about healing.
Location should never be the only factor, though. The diagnosis, the donor plan, who performs each step and the aftercare pathway matter more. Our guide to choosing a hair transplant surgeon in NYC covers the questions to ask.

Getting here from each borough
Manhattan
From the Upper West Side, Harlem or Washington Heights, the 1, 2, 3 and A, C, E lines run straight to 34th Street–Penn Station. From the East Side, take the 4, 5, 6 or Q to a connecting line, or the 7 across 42nd Street to Times Square. From Downtown and the Financial District, the 1, 2, 3, A, C and E all run north to 34th Street.
Brooklyn
The 2 and 3 connect much of Brooklyn directly to 34th Street–Penn Station. The A and C serve Downtown Brooklyn and Bed-Stuy, and the B, D, N, Q, R and W reach Herald Square, one avenue east of us.
Queens
The 7 train runs from Flushing through Long Island City to Times Square–42nd Street. The E runs from Jamaica to Penn Station, and the N, W and R reach Herald Square and Times Square. The LIRR from Jamaica and Forest Hills also arrives at Penn Station.
The Bronx
The 2 train runs from the northern Bronx to 34th Street–Penn Station, and the B and D reach Herald Square. Metro-North riders can connect from Grand Central with the 7 or the shuttle to Times Square.
Staten Island
Take the Staten Island Ferry to Whitehall, then the 1 train from South Ferry, or the R or W from Whitehall St, to Midtown.
Coming from New Jersey, Long Island or Westchester
Many of our patients commute into Midtown anyway, which makes our location convenient:
- New Jersey: NJ Transit trains arrive at Penn Station, commuter buses arrive at Port Authority, and PATH trains stop at 33rd Street.
- Long Island: the LIRR arrives at Penn Station, a short walk from the clinic.
- Westchester and Connecticut: Metro-North arrives at Grand Central; the 7 or the 42nd Street shuttle brings you to Times Square.
On the procedure day, plan for someone to accompany you or arrange a car home, and follow the instructions in our pre-op checklist.
Does going local cost more?
Price depends mainly on the number of grafts, the technique and the treatment plan, not on the borough you live in. GoodRx estimates that hair transplants in New York City typically cost between $4,000 and $15,000. Our NYC hair transplant cost guide explains what changes the price and how monthly financing works.
Some New Yorkers compare local care with travelling abroad. Our Istanbul clinic page and our guide to hair transplant costs in Turkey explain the trade-offs, including travel time and how follow-up works when you are back home.
